Hyderabad, April 6: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has declared that the efforts are put in to control the Corona virus in the state would be continued with more dedication.
He said that the state government would firmly stand by the medical and health staff who are serving the patients. He said all those who had the symptoms are being treated without fail and those who came in contact with them were also quarantined.
The CM held a high-level review meeting on Sunday at Pragathi Bhavan till 10 PM on measures taken to prevent the spread of Corona virus in the state. Medical and Health Minister Etela Rajender, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP Mahender Reddy, Principal Secretaries Narsing Rao, Shanta Kumari, Ramakrishna Rao and others participated.
“Medical and Health staff are rendering great services to prevent spread of Corona virus and offering treatment to those who were with the Corona virus. The government made special focus on the protection of the staff. Special measures are taken for the protection of their health. As on date, for tests for those coming to offer medical help, test kits, PPEs, Masks and other medicines are available in adequate numbers. Even if there was increase in patients in future, PPEs and Masks will be procured as per the demand,” the CM said.
KCR instructed the officials concerned to take all the protective measures for the medical and health employees. He wanted funds donated for the CMRF should be utilised to procure PPEs, Masks and medicines for the Staff. He wanted an action plan should be made ready even if there was an increase in patients in future.
